1. Offer Inclusions: This promotional offer includes parts and labor for a standard routine engine oil and filter change, a borescope inspection of each cylinder and valve, and internal inspection of the oil filter media.  The promotional price listed is valid for a single engine. For twin-engine aircraft, the promotion applies to each engine separately and will be billed as two individual services.

• Up to 3 liters of Aeroshell Sport Plus 4, and 1 Rotax oil filter for Rotax 4 stroke engines.

• Up to 8 quarts of Phillips 100AW and 1 Tempest oil filter for 4 cylinder Lycoming and Continental engines.

• Up to 10 quarts of Phillips 100AW and 1 Tempest oil filter for 6 cylinder Lycoming and Continental engines.

2. Advance Scheduling Required To ensure we have the correct oil and filter for your engine, and dedicated hangar space ready for your arrival, this promotional service must be scheduled in advance. 3. Eligibility

• Applicability: Offer is valid only for standard piston-powered general aviation aircraft (e.g., Rotax 4-stroke, Lycoming and Continental engines). Excludes turboprop, turbine, and specialized/experimental engines requiring non-standard procedures.

• Validity: This offer is valid until August 31, 2026 and cannot be combined with any other discounts, promotions, or annual inspection packages.

 

4. Exclusions and Additional Fees

• Additional Oil: Engines requiring more than the standard quantities listed above will be billed for the additional quarts at standard shop rates.

• Complex Access: Aircraft requiring excessive or non-standard cowling removal, or specialized equipment to access the engine/spark plugs for the borescope inspection, may be subject to additional labor charges. The owner will be notified prior to any additional charges being incurred.

• Additional Servicing: This offer covers the oil change and borescope inspection only. It does not include oil analysis laboratory fees, or spark plug cleaning/gapping unless explicitly requested and billed separately.

• Alternate Materials: Other oils and filters are made available but will be billed at a higher rate.  Prior notification and signed approval required before the service starts.

 

5. Borescope Findings and Airworthiness:The complimentary borescope and oil filter media inspections are a diagnostic, preventative maintenance service.

• No Repairs Included: The promotion covers the visual inspections only. Any repairs, adjustments, or replacement parts required to address issues discovered during the borescope or filter media inspections are strictly excluded from this offer and will be quoted separately.

• Airworthiness Obligations: As a certified maintenance facility, if our inspection reveals a discrepancy that compromises the safety or airworthiness of the aircraft, we are obligated to document the finding in the aircraft logbooks. The owner is responsible for the cost of any necessary repairs before the aircraft is deemed airworthy.

• Transportation: If the aircraft is found un-airworthy during the inspections and cannot be repaired the same day, the customer is responsible for transportation from our facility.

 

6. Right of Refusal: Wingnuts Inc reserves the right to refuse service to anyone, at any time, for any reason, to the extent permitted by law. This includes, but is not limited to, situations involving unsafe aircraft conditions, requests that compromise regulatory compliance, suspected inability to pay for services rendered, or a breakdown in professional communication.
